A green innovative “Ecopark” was established at Namangan State University in 2024. This project, which will be built on an area of 3 hectares on the university’s territory, is aimed at preserving the natural environment and developing environmental education.
The eco-garden houses 86 species of plants from five regions of the world . In addition, 1,500 trees and shrubs have been planted, which have a positive impact on nature conservation. In addition, more than 3,000 decorative flowers have been planted in the area, which, in addition to providing aesthetic beauty, serve to beautify the environment.
The eco-park is used not only to create an ecological environment, but also as a scientific and practical training ground. Practical classes in 17 subjects of educational directions are held here in the open air. In addition, a special educational and scientific platform has been created for independent learning and scientific research.
This project will help students learn practical knowledge in ecology and biology, as well as implement innovative ideas for environmental protection.
