About Namangan State University

Namangan State University is included in the list of higher educational institutions granted financial independence in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-61 dated December 24, 2021 “On measures to provide financial independence to state higher educational institutions”.

The educational process at the university has been organized on the basis of the credit-module system since the 2020/2021 academic year in accordance with the Regulation “On the Procedure for Introducing the Credit-Module System into the Educational Process in Higher Educational Institutions”, approved by Order No. 357 of the Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education dated June 30, 2020 and Resolution No. 824 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 31, 2020.

As of the 2022/2023 academic year, the university uses 8 academic buildings with a capacity of 8,787 students and 243 classrooms, 1 activity hall, 5 gyms, 2 summer sports facilities, 4 canteens, and 4 student dormitories with a capacity of 1,594 beds.
